WHY SHEEPSKIN?
Homestead knows the unique properties of sheepskin that make it so desirable in both looks and comfort. The hollow fiber structure of sheepskin in "fur" actually lifts and wicks moisture away from the skin, keeping the wearer comfortably warm and dry. The high lanolin content of sheepskin serves as a natural moisturizer. And sheepskin is the only "fur" that does not threaten a species. All sheepskin used by Homestead is a by-product of the food industry.
WASHING--All of our products are machine washable. Use a mild soap like Ivory Flakes. Wash in warm or cold water, NOT hot. Turn inside out and air dry or tumble with no heat.
